Vidisha Hegde currently leads Insights across Data Science and User Research for Spotify across India, Middle East and Africa. She has over 15 years of deep consumer tech experience primarily across internal strategy and operations, data science and user research. She's worked with organisations such as KPMG, Quicksand Design, and Swiggy, one of India's largest food-tech startups before her current role at Spotify. Over the last few years, she learnt the craft of qualitative and quantitative research, and discovered the power of using these methods along with data science to understand user behaviour more deeply. She is also adept in using design research principles to uncover unmet user needs that can guide new product building. Her unique experience combines business & product acumen, along with consumer insights understanding to help evidence based decision making for Spotify's leadership for India, Middle East and Africa. She holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, and currently resides in Bangalore, India with her husband and two daughters.
