Sue Bell is a Sydney-based qualitative researcher. She runs the boutique micro agency Susan Bell Research. Sue is a Fellow of The Research Society. She has an Honours degree in English & Linguistics, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, a Marketing Diploma, and Certificates in Advanced Semiotics, and in Plain Language and is currently studying anthropology. She has presented papers at many industry conferences including IiEX, QRCA and Esomar, and has been published in Research News, Qualitative Market Research: an International Journal, Clarity - Journal of the international association promoting plain legal language, and the International Journal of Market Research. In 2016, she became interested in Sensemaking and started to develop qualitative research techniques to understand how people make sense of confusing and difficult situations.
