It gives me great pleasure to deliver this news! As the Chairman and Co-Producer of the Market Research in the Mobile World conferences, it’s incredibly exciting to see this “little conference that could” grow. I and many others will work very hard to make this series of events into one of the leading conferences within the global market research space for years to come. We have a whole host of interesting things planned for these conferences and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by what is sure to be three of the “Can’t miss!” events of 2012!
Here is the official press release:
Globalpark, a QuestBack Company, to Partner with Merlien Institute and GreenBook for future Mobile Research Conference events
The annual Mobile Research Conference, hosted by Globalpark, a QuestBack company, since 2009, is partnering with the Merlien Institute and GreenBook for future events. The annual London Mobile Research Conference will now be called Market Research in a Mobile World® Europe, and the next will be held 18-19 April 2012 in Amsterdam. (Please visit http://www.mrmw.net for details)
The interest in using mobile devices to engage, interact and activate customers for both marketing and research purposes has skyrocketed. As such, multiple events on the topic have emerged over the years and across regions. In order to best serve the market and cooperate for the greater good, Globalpark, a QuestBack company, is handing over production of its Mobile Research Conference to event professionals at Merlien Institute, the organiser of the International Market Research in a Mobile World®events.
Globalpark, which was acquired by QuestBack in August 2011, will continue to focus on offering solutions to help organizations engage and capture feedback from customers, employees and stakeholders through all channels. “Our commitment to improving dialogue and understanding through mobile devices, social media, and private online communities remains strong. We feel that transferring production of the event to professionals is the best way forward to share knowledge worldwide, and together shape the future of market research,” says Chief Visionary Officer of QuestBack (and former CEO of Globalpark), Lorenz Graef. “We will continue to participate on the conference advisory board, and engage other industry experts to shape the events.”
“This merger is a good fit for Merlien Institute and the strength and depth of the Mobile Research Conference brand will provide the perfect platform from which to expand our mobile research events portfolio both in the UK and overseas”, says Jasper Lim, Managing Director of Merlien Institute. “Together with our content partner GreenBook, we are confident that we can take the event to the next level.”
